Dreaming Tree is a collaboration between rocker Dave Matthews and
winemaker Sean McKenzie, designed to make quality wines accessible to
everyone. The two friends hope to give consumers a taste of casual wine
country living with every sip while also donating some of the profits to
Living Lands and Waters, an organization with whom they have planted
over a million trees so far.
Dreaming Tree Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc 2016
- Fresh and juicy
with citrus and tropical notes, this medium-bodied white has good acidity
with a lingering pineapple and kiwi finish that makes it both the perfect
patio sipper and delicious with ceviche. SRP $15
Dreaming Tree California Pinot Noir 2015
- Light and fruity with black
cherry and strawberry, this wine has a medium body, smooth tannins, and
a lightly toasted note in the finish. A light and easy summer red, enjoy it
with rotisserie chicken or grilled salmon. SRP $15
Charles Smith Wines was created by Charles Smith, a former rock
band manager who turned winemaker in 2001. You may have
seen the modern, black-and-white labels on his wines with catchy
names like The Velvet Devil or Kung Fu Girl. He considers the brand
a modernist project aimed at making wines that are ready to be
enjoyed immediately, as the majority of wine consumers do today.
He does this while still using the most up-to-date sustainable
practices including recycled water.
Eve Chardonnay 2014
- This light refreshing style of Chardonnay is
perfect for the summer with its crisp apple and tangerine aromas
and flavors and a light mineral note in the lingering finish. Ideal
with simply grilled seafood and pastas. SRP $12.99
Boom Boom! Syrah 2015
- Explosive aromas and juicy flavors of
cranberry and blackberry along with zippy white pepper notes
energize this wine while the smooth tannins and moderate alcohol
keep it easy drinking. Try it with grilled pork chops. SRP $17.99
