Ohana Surf Dog Competition:
9am-
12pm. Whether catching a wave with
a furry friend or seeking fun on the
beach with friends and family, this year’s
attendees can expect a fun-filled day. The
event is expected to draw up to 30 + surf
dogs and thousands of spectators from
all over the gulf coast. Held at 28th &
Seawall Blvd. adjacent to the Historic
Galveston Pleasure Pier. Free to attend,

Jamaica Beach City Park, corner of

Main Sail Movie Night:
8-10pm.
Join GHF’s Texas Seaport Museum
for a special movie night as
Muppet
Treasure Island
is projected on one
of the ship’s sails on the pier at Texas
Seaport Museum. Admission is free with
RSVP. The movie will begin at sunset,
approximately 8:30pm, and the public is
encouraged to bring their own chairs and
blankets. Beer, refreshments and popcorn
will be available for purchase dockside.

Galveston Family Beach Challenge:
11am-5pm. The Galveston Park Board
is hosting a series of Family Beach
Challenges that will continue throughout
the summer. Families are invited to go
head to head in a series of competitions
including giant Jenga, sack races and
more – all to win some fantastic prizes.
These events are free to the public and
structured for groups of four people.
The family with the most points at the
end of the day will receive a $500 gift
card, plus tickets to island attractions.

“Riders in the Sky” - Salute to Roy
Rogers:
