Recently, Galveston’s Porch Café Market and Bistro was named as one of the
Top 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America
for 2017 by OpenTable.
Anchoring Beachtown’s Town Center, Porch Café’s Chef Marshall Paysse continues
to create new, seasonal menus of American coastal cuisine that are hand-crafted
throughout the day. He uses the finest meat and freshest ingredients, including daily
seafood catches from the Gulf, which are beautifully complemented by the sweet
scent of salt air on the porches or a glass of wine from their extensive wine list.
The café provides a relaxed, elegant and European-esque atmosphere, light-filled
rooms, high ceilings, and famous wide porches with views of the beach that together
create the perfect place for a variety of occasions, from a celebratory dinner to weddings
and private events. Porch Café is a captivating place to wine, dine, and celebrate.

Writer, actor, and director Jaston Williams is at it again! The creator
and co-star of the
Greater Tuna
trilogy brings the premiere of his
latest show to The Grand 1894 Opera House for what promises to
be a laughter-filled one-man laugh-fest.
Clear to Partly Crazy
consists of three sections covering subjects
well-known to all Texans: cheerleading, tornadoes, and certifiably
insane blood relatives. Travel with him from grandstands, to storm
cellars, to the occasional mental institution on Saturday, June 24 at
2pm and 8pm.
“Jaston is no stranger to introducing new plays at The Grand,” stated
Maureen Patton, Executive Director. “
Red White and Tuna, Tuna
Does Vegas
, and
I Heard That
, all with his Tuna cohort Joe Sears, had
celebratory openings at The Grand, as well as Jaston’s solo show,
Blame It
On Valentine, Texas
. We love being ‘home’ to Jaston’s creative genius.”
