For this month’s ArtWalk on June 3, The Water’s Edge Studio and Gallery will present a
new exhibit entitled
Palms and Chocks
. It includes palm tree paintings in oil and other,
smaller paintings that in a way resemble plaid, referred to by artist and gallery owner Gayle
Reynolds as “chocks.” Gayle’s work is also on display at Porch Café in Beachtown. Over in the
boatroom, Rex Reynolds builds his Adirondack tallboys, flanked by the pottery of Madeleine
Baker, the bronze sculptures of Pat Moberley Moore, and primitive necklaces crafted by
Chase Jennings. New to the gallery are
Texaco
and the
USS Constitution,
two ship models
from the collection of David Mullican that are also available for sale.
